Our History

Horizon Machine and Design Inc. is a family owned and operated business. Started in 1993, Horizon began with a used lathe and mill drill, and has steadily grown since.

Horizon incorporated in 1995 and purchased our first CNC machine in 1997. Within a year, a new shop was built and a second CNC was added to the production line. In 2015, Horizon moved to our current location. At the time, our 3,000 square foot building housed two CNC machines and a new CNC 4-axis mill.

Our shop has since expanded three times, growing to nearly 8,000 square feet and boasting 12 CNCs.

Over the years we have seen a shift in our work. Initially our primary focus included short runs, prototypes or designing and fabricating machinery to automate customer’s processes. Though we still do this to some degree, the added CNC equipment has allowed us to move more toward production machining.
